*Acrylic on Homemade Recycled Paper!

I think I found this design on a t-shirt or something...anyway, I love this mainly because I love Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 and have read it a bunch of times ^_^. Oh and I made the paper from old newspaper, so that was fun :)

Yeah, that T-shirt was SO COOL! But I like your painting of it better, and I think one of the best parts is that you actually made the paper. I mean, who does that?! Artists, that's who!

That is super cool though. I love the colors of the flame, and the way it almost looks stenciled. Neat!

You never saw it because I did it at the end of my junior year.
I like it too! Probably because Fahrenheit 451 is one of my favorite books; I think I've read it 3 times already. I like almost all of Ray Bradbury's books though :)

And actually I didn't really MAKE my own paper, like I cut down a tree and stuff, hehe. I really recycled old newspaper and shreddings from my dad's paper shredder. There are instructions for homemade paper on the internet. It's pretty awesome!

No not really. Most of the time it takes to make it is spent waiting for it to dry out.
